if it was scarfed my gardevoir wouldn't have outran it. . .and i think it has a life orb. . .it only attacked once before i took it down and i can't tember if it took damage for attacking

Ok. So if it has a Life Orb, it should be pretty slow. That makes it Gyarados/Starmie bait.

to be honest the heatran wasn't even the scariest thing on his team. . .his heracross and metagross are what gave me the most trouble. . .

I was planning to use a bulky water type and a Bronzong, so they shouldn't be too much of a problem.
