Nicknames?

So, did you ever give nicknames to your Pokemon?
I've restarted my Pearl to all new and started giving them nicknames from Greek mythology as I go. All except my starter, which gets my online-name pseudonym.

I'm just wondering if anyone else does this, since it can give a suprise to people when battling. :0

I pretty much name every Pokemon I think I'll ever be using.

Back in the days of Pokemon Blue & Red, GB link cables, and Missingno, we'd always name our pokemon misleading names in battles, like MEWTWO would be named CATERPIE.

I name each and every single one of my guys a vulgar word.

I never named mine before, but now it just seems really cool.




I named some of mine:
Calypso (Misdreavous)
Hermes (Hoothoot)
Apollo (Chingling)
Eqzo (Grotle)

<3 I try to make them somewhat similar to the actual character of mythology they portray.

I've only nicknamed 1 Pokemon in all my years and games (B,G,S,LG,E,D, and the 2 Stadiums count) and that was a Level 40 Tentacruel in Blue, because it was the first pokemon I caught with a super rod and I was like "HOLY CRAP HES LEVEL 40!!" And I nicknamed him All Star .

I sometimes do. It depends on my mood if I feel like nickname my pokemon.
