My boy sprocket coming through with that sloppy tv he was selling. Kinda reminds of how he doesn't have one in his house. I'm new to this, so can someone please explain to me how sloppy items just appear in the re-tail like that?
It's normal that the sloppy items getting offered by villagers who doesn't even have the items previously
in their house. Can't explain however from where villagers got them (I always imagined they just store
them in their closet as old furniture which they don't use anymore). It's by the way also the same with
pieces from the Cardboard set, they also get offered randomly from villagers even if you may not saw
them in said villager's house before.
Villagers are a black hole for hoarding things, but they also have their own inventory like we do. Any items gifted to them by making deliveries, anything they bought off of you, stuff they obtain in general, clothes, furniture, sometimes fruit and paintings, they keep in their inventory and will try to sell it to you or put it in ReTail.
Once an animal has went throu all of their inventory and they have nothing to pawn off you/put in ReTail, they will sell items in their house. Once they do that, they start putting up sloppy furniture (I think once it twice they put up cardboard for me).
Yep. Villagers sell the sloppy series by random, along with the cardboard series too. I'm not sure how often they appear, but if I remember correctly, it can be kinda rare for them to put them up. It's kinda neat that they do this, as I actually kinda like the sloppy series.
