Next Game?

An option you can turn on "Alert me when visitors are picking things up, digging, ect" :l

Oh yeah...AND MORE THAN 10 VILLAGERS MAX IN A TOWN (needs to be 15 like gamecube version :D)

I'd only like that if they also made the town bigger, since finished towns already seemed cramped with just 10.

- I don't think we need more personalities but I'm not against the idea.
- More species!! And more octopuses please!
- Grass wear just needs to go. It doesn't matter if it's more manageable now. I don't want it. But if in the next game there's a dirt spot I don't like, I would want to grow it back so if grass wear took like 8 months to die and 3 days to grow back, I wouldn't mind it. Or maybe it should be optional to people who want to use the feature.
- Bigger storage and option to hold more designs and even designs in storage could be active for pathways.
- Frillard and Wisp and Serena return. Only special characters that I can think of that didn't make it into NL. Also all special characters have to be in the game. We need to all be a big happy family.
- An option to control where villagers move.
- Villagers need to be more talkative. I feel like I've heard all the dialogue already.
- Constellations and they need to be easier to make.
- More projects. Like a swing would be cool and more bridges and just more stuff. Also more than 30!
- Bigger map. I need a big ol fat map.
- More fun areas to explore other then main street and island. How about a cave and a forest and a city? Kinda hoping they release a DLC expansion pack with new areas but probably not gonna happen lol
- Idk if they do those lil episode things were the special characters tell you a story about their pasts and stuff but those need to be in the next game for all of them.
- Special tool slots for the tools
- More stable wifi. I'm paranoid to play online now because I'm afraid the error page is gonna show up
- More events. My villagers keep saying there isn't a event coming up soon..
- Champ needs to return. Idc if he looks like Porter, I want my favorite monkey back. And yah, more monkeys. Loved that they added more but it wasn't enough.
- Dead spots are useless. Get rid of them.
- More villagers but only if the map is bigger.

Somebody send this thread to Nintendo so they know what we want.

The most important thing that Animal Crossing needs to address is giving people the ability to choose their skin color.

This is not a big deal as people make it out to be.

We need an option to control where villagers move. Bring back the signs, and let me move them around. Or maybe something else to signify where they can move.

Grass wear is such a controversial subject in the community. Just make it optional.

There is absolutely no reason as to why we can't have at least 15 patterns on hand.

I am also 100% against eviction.

I want dragon, chinchilla, and otter villagers!

And return Cupcake in the next game!

Annabot said it before me. Sure, it's not a big deal to you, probably because it doesn't affect you, yeah?

More like "probably because other than here, I very rarely have ever seen that as a complaint. It has never been a point of negativity in any of the professional reviews of the game.

1.more villager personalities
2.more types of villagers, maybe add regular villagers that are from special types? like more giraffes or hedgehogs.
3.the ability to create your character right off the bat instead of having to answer questions.
4.more custom design slots
5.more hairstyles to choose from, also face styles
6.the ability to change your face style whenever you want to via shampoodle

So because the media ignores the issue, it's not a big deal? Ohoho, that's quite a loaded argument you have there.

Or maybe, y'know, it's never been a big deal? None of the reviews for AC:GC, AC:WW, AC:CF, or AC:NL have had race mentioned in them. Quit making a big deal out of something so minor.

I do think we should be allowed to change our face style.

Plastic surgery.

If a video game review told you to jump off a bridge, would you do it? :p
Why let game reviews dictate the limits of what you deem as acceptable criticism of a game? I'm not trying to attack you, here, I'm just honestly very confused and curious as to why you think this is not a big deal simply because you didn't read it in Nintendo Power.

One of the hallmarks of the AC series is customization, and character customization in particular was taken to new levels in AC:NL. There is absolutely no reason why players of a different skin tone than Caucasian should have to be forced to play as a Caucasian character, and there is no reason players who agree with that statement should ever be made to feel ashamed for such an opinion. Tanning is not an acceptable alternative as it merely enforces the erroneous assumption that white skin is the norm.

Hmmm, I wonder what race are the writers of these reviews you've read?

Once again, you're not affected by it because the default skin color in the game suits you, therefor you don't see it as a big deal. But I am telling you, that to the people it DOES affect (and to others to) it is a big deal

Tanning is not an acceptable alternative as it merely enforces the erroneous assumption that white skin is the norm.
Preach

I'm just here to state my opinion, which is probably a bad idea, but as a very pale Caucasian, I see nothing wrong with skin customization. It's really just a preference - like everything else in the game. It's your game, do what you want.

So I get how this can be a big issue to you guys, but aren't you two taking the arguments a bit overboard? Besides, i don't think you should let the issue of skin color get in the way. Anyways
I hope that there is NO grass wear, bigger town...i feel mine is cramped and different mayoral things you can do... Expand on it a bit.

Um, it is.

The game is made in Japan where almost nobody even has so much as a decent tan, that's why many Japanese games or other media almost never have darker characters. Developers make what relates to themselves or the demographic they're targeting. Heck, it's taken Pokemon almost 20years to have the option to make darker characters and that's only because not only is it a global giant of a franchise, but it's starting to take place in different settings of the globe as well.

Sure, I agree skin options should be in the game even from just a customization perspective but it's not like it's not directly there because of any negative racial issue.
