Hello everyone! I am new to ACNL and would love some advice for earning bells and maybe some friends as well.

Would you like me to come to your town and bring you some apples to plant? That is, so long as it's not already your town fruit. Non-native fruits make much more bells at retail than your town's native fruit.

the way I got started was by grinding up a good sizeable amount, and then on sunday invest it in the stalk, if you choose to go that way, familiarize yourself with the stalk 'patterns' seen here http://www.thonky.com/animal-crossing-new-leaf/stalk-market and be sure to visit the official turnip price thread occasionally and sell elsewhere if you don't get a big spike pattern in your town. you can also make a surprisingly high amount of bells by doing tours on tortimer island, and just running around and collecting fruit inbetween the actual actiivty(or instead of doing it)

i'm always looking for ppl to trade with or even just to pop into their town and check their stores...

Going to the island at night and catching the bugs there can 'net' you a lot of bells (ayyy lmao)

Once you get 20,000 bells (even I have a hard time getting here after a little over-spending, haha) go to the Town Hall and set up the Bell Boom Ordinance. More Bells=More awesomeness!
