Hi! I've never really had much luck selling turnips so i haven't really bothered.. Recently restarted my town so figured it's a good time to try! I have a few questions though - how many is a good amount to buy at once? What is a good sell point? Does Joan always sell them for the same price, or different prices each time? And what time does Joan leave town? I'm sure i saw her earlier but now i can't seem to find her.. I realise most of this is probably personal preference, but i have no concept whatsoever so any help would be really appreciated! Sorry for asking so many questions, thanks in advance!

There is no certain or still way to decide a "Good amount"; just spend as much as you'd like to risk. I usually spend 1m. Joan sells them for different prices every Sunday morning.

Joan is in town Sundays 6am to noon. You can use the megaphone to find her.

If you want to actually make money with turnips, the best way to do it is by finding other people with high turnip prices. Either on this forum or r/acturnips on reddit. Otherwise you will make very low profits and it could be weeks or months before you get a decent price. Joan's prices vary but its between about 90-110 so the price difference is negligible if you find someone who is buying turnips at 500-600 every week.

I usually spend 800k or so on turnips and use an alt character to store them.

And when selling them, try to check prices before noon and after noon. Prices change then.

The best is buy a full slot of locker A,B,C and go someone's else town with high turnips price and you can definitely earn alot. I usually only spend 1.5m and earn a total 8m.

I spend till my whole locker is full, A, B and C. I use a path mule to carry it around.

I buy as many as I'm sure is safe to buy...and usually only when I see a person with a thread and turnips at a really good price.
