Hello Everyone :)

I am not sure if this is the right place to talk about this topic.
Didn't see any Help or Trading Guide / Value (in bells) sections

I started playing ANCL 2 weeks ago :)
*I was able to convince Fauna and Zell to move in through the camp
I saw they were thought of / quite popular :) I would like to trade them for Bells, or villagers or both!
I am trying to get Kabuki, Tangy, Genji, Katt, Kyle, (Whitney and Marshall, the super populars) -- >--< !!
I am a little confused because I see that Villagers prices varies from 500K to 15M O:

*I also wanted to ask how to keep villagers as original as possible!
Some of my favorite villagers started wearing new clothes and I wish we could revert it! (I try talking to Isabelle about it, but nothing changed!)

And finally, is there also any Trading Etiquette I should Follow? :)

Thank you very much :) (please excuse my English!)

Hiya! To trade villagers or auction them off, go to the Villager Trading Plaza forum.
Everyone sells pictures at different prices.
I usually save and continue when delivering a package to a villager, and if they try wearing clothing that's bad or get unfitting furniture, I reset or keep the package for myself. I also don't catch my villagers fish or bugs, nor do I sell them things unless it's flooring/wallpaper.
I hope I helped you out! :)
There really isn't an etiquette for trading.

Hi and welcome to TBT! :)

Concerning villager pricing, if you haven't yet you might want to check out the popularity list:
http://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?109343-List-of-Villagers-Based-on-Popularity

This will give you an idea of how popular your villagers are. As for pricing, Tier ones usually go for 15-20mil, but it can be more, and it can be less. Similarly a very low tier villager can be sold for a VERY high price if someone is desperate to get them.
I suggest you auction your villagers instead of selling them, this way you are sure to get the best price out of them.
There are 2 popular ways to auction:

- When the villager tells you they'll be moving out in X days, start your auction and end it on the day the villager moves out. This allows more bidding but there is a risk that the person won't be available when need them to come get the villager.
- When the villager is already "in boxes", meaning it's their move out date, hold a speed auction that lasts a couple of hours.
In any case it is important to be clear on the time of the end of the auction. You can also set a minimum bid increase.
This way you will get a good idea of how much villagers can be sold for, and when you're mor experienced you can decide to sell them for a fixed price if you wish, although auctions are more popular.

To keep villagers as original as possible, keep them in your town the least time possible, and don't give them anything or buy anything from them. To make sure they don't wear custom clothes you can also fill your Able's Sisters shop with hats or umbrellas instead of clothes. Also avoid delivering packages from other villagers to them, as they usually contain clothes or furniture they will put in their house.

As for trading etiquette, mostly stick with your original rules when you make a trade (when an auction ends...). Make it clear what the conditions are, you can also make your villager trades exclusive to people with "dreamie proof" meaning it says in their sig that they are looking for this villager. But that's not a must.
Also, if you go to someone's town for a trade, most people don't appreciate you running in their town or going to places alone or picking anything, so stick to following them. :)
Finally, before trading with someone look at their wifi reviews on their profiles to make sure they are trustworthy! Don't worry too much, most people are.

I hope this helps!
I'm sure many other members will have useful advice for you.

check for real time trading prices by searching for villagers through this: http://www.reddit.com/r/AdoptMyVillager/
The Villager Popularity thread Titi linked to you is outdated. It doesn't keep up with the real time prices.
Also it's much cheaper to get villagers on Reddit since it's a fast moving website. Belltreeforums has a much slower pace and the prices are high. So I recommend you sell your villagers here (especially Zell and Fauna cuz the TBT community blindly believes the Popular Villager List made by Hound00m). And you should buy your villagers on Reddit or other sites (like animal crossing community, and tumblr's villager adoption) for a cheaper price. This is what I called "buy low, sell high."

Wow that's pretty rude.
The popular villagers here are different from Reddit or Tumblr, but considering we're on TBT I explained what was related to TBT...

Also to be honnest trades are much safer on TBT than on Reddit... From my experience at least.

Another tip on keeping your villagers original is to replace everything on Re-Tail with fruit or shells priced very high (like 999,999). Talk to the owner of Re-Tail and pick the Flea Market option, you'll be able to put those items on sale that way. This means your villagers won't buy stuff from there like clothes and furniture (though they'll complain about the prices a lot, in my experience).

Sorry if my post offended you. I understand your own personal experience wasn't a good one with Reddit.
Honestly I think scams can happen any where. I experienced scams on other websites too. Also Reddit was a scam mega in the past cuz there weren't any system put into practice. Now there's a rating system on Reddit.
My friend got Merengue for 3million and was bragging about it for days (Merengue is popular on Reddit too). The other day I ordered an item on TBT by offering 10 items for it. I waited 4 days and each day I saw the trader doing other transactions. I asked her a couple of times and she ignored me. Finally my friend said "I'm going to post on reddit and get you the item." At first i was a skeptic about Reddit cuz I hear people assume bad things about it. However within 30 minutes, my friend got the item by trading only two items for it.

In the end, I guess what I am trying to say is. You should give everything a chance. All the online forums have their good and their bad. Try using them in a way that's more beneficial to you. I don't blame you for having negative experiences on Reddit and choose TBT. I respect you for doing things your way.

How much bells would Kabuki cost me in average ?

I don't do turnips, and earn money with the island, but yeah it gets a little boring when you try to catch things for hours xD
