New Town Woes

I decided to restart one of my newer towns to change for a theme change. Got a great map, my favorite fruit (cherries), but then I saw Limberg's face...man I hate that mouse. -_- But this map's too great to give up for one uggo so I guess I can live with it until he leaves...hopefully soon.

How many of you have chose to just live with having horrible starts for the sake of your town's layout/fruit/grass/ect. before?

I did But now they have all moved out and I like all of my villagers ^^ It was definitely worth it!

Oh god, that was horrible. Good thing im resetting.

Lets see who I get THIS time. I'll post again once I make it and see my..uhh, "happy beautiful" villagers.

I'd have been happier if I had gotten at least one starter that matched the theme I was going for. But alas guess you can't have it both ways.

Finally got a map without Fang and started it for the challenge XD

That was sort of me with Whitney. I had reset 5 times and she showed up as a starter 4 of those 5 times. If she'd move into my main I'd be happy. *wishes she had a second ds* I hate when my 2nd storage town gets great villagers and my main gets..well not so great villagers. I.E. 2nd town started with Whitney, Beau, Ruby, and Coco, then Marshal randomly moves in on Day 2 with no plot resetting.

Talk about luck! Marshal in my main town just gave me a legit painting for free. I was sort of expecting a fake.

I picked my town right now based completely on map! I didn't hate my starting villagers but I'm definitely not keeping any of them either. Villagers are replaceable/cycle-able but town map is FOREVEEER c:

I always go in assuming this and the villager you want out the most always ends up being the last one to go. XD

I made a new town recently and I dont even like the map and didn't even get the fuit or villagers I wanted. But... I don't care too much about that stuff. I know that I can make something amazing out of what I have! (And I actually fell in love with all of the villagers I got)

I wanted to restart since I dislike my villagers face (she always look like shes half awake but tbh its kinda cute, I like dressing her up in PJ's) But the only way I'll restart is if julian, marina, or zucker moves out.

That's the same reason I haven't reset my 2nd town, too many good villagers to lose. Turns out I've been putting up with plenty of ugly villagers in my main town for months before discovering the AC community at all. And my current villagers (mostly high-tier) all have come from non-resetting random move-ins.

I had cousteu, del, pango, pudge and gladys. Like literally the worst starter pack of villagers except pudge who's ok.

Mine were:
Bangle, kind of cute but doesn't fit the theme
Puck, not very fond of penguins in general
Limberg, EWW
Gladys, not entirely hideous but still my favorite of the ducks and doesn't fit the theme I'm going for
Vesta, cute but doesn't fit the theme

Vesta, Bangle and Gladys I could live with but Limberg and Puck need to G-O GO.
