- new town name ideas? -

after not playing in...... quite some time, and my older town looking wrecked and.... ugh just many other reasons - I have decided to reset, start fresh.

the names I have previously gone with were ethereal and humble. but I think I need to start fresh, fresh.

to help, I love: the fall, greek mythology, the forest, fairy - related, anything cutesy, witchy, anything that sounds calming.

LET ME MAKE AN IMPORTANT NOTE, I am a bit *cough ocd and am looking for a farm name as well. I am playing acnl, but also restarting all of my farms in harvest moon / story of seasons and for.. reasons, kind of wanted help with that to and which coordinate with each other if possible. for reference, I believe acnl allows 8 letter slots while harvest moon / story of seasons allows 6.

I hope this post made sense, I just really need some help asap so I can get my town (and farms) up and running again! thank you kindly for the help. if you need clarification or whatever, lemme know ~

When I got my fourth town, I actually found a good website that's an amazing reference for town name creation! You can find it here!

Some that are found on that website, along with some other general mythological names (I tried to stick with Greek mythology) include:
Arcadia, Atlantis (the name of one of my towns!<3), Elysia, Olympus, Calydon, Lycia, Nemea

For a forest/flower theme, you could try:
Ash, Alder, Aspen, Chestnut, Cypress, Euodia, Gordonia, Mahogany, Mulberry, Palmwood, Redwood

Also, if you go to the website and scroll down to method 4, they have a whole bunch of bits and pieces you can put together to come up with your own unique name!

Name your town Artemis who was the Greek God of nature, and as twist name your character Diana who was the roman equivalent.

My town names are Rosewood and Sedona.
For CALM/FOREST/CUTE town names, I like Rehoboth, Camile, Adel, Sedona, Yellowton, Creekton, Creek, Nirvana, Rocheport, Decorah, Salter, Pahlsey, Houghton, Thriville, Hawkins, Calhoun, Theotopi, Dominio, Farway, Elden, Bastrop, Maeville, Raine, Magnolia, Siloam, etc,
For MYTHOLOGICAL/CUTE names, I like Athena, Artemis, Gaia, Iris, Calliope, Demeter, Aurora, Rhea, Hestia, Maia, Selene, Penelope, Hecate, Nyx, Astraea, Thalia, Harmonia, Hebe, Antheia, Ancantha, Odysseus, etc.
