Hi all, I’m abit behind and started 6 days ago! Enjoying it so far, never thought New Leaf could get better.... how wrong was I? Haha.
My 2 starting villagers are Paula and Lyman! I kinda like Lyman! Hope he stays and just had Ava, Puddles and Cranston move in. No I’m sorry but Ava and Cranston have to leave!!! How do you make that happen? any tips would be greatly appreciated! TIA x
You’re a bit early on that front. Get up to your forced smug (I wish you a good one!) and get a spare villager (you’ll be at 7) and you should start to get move out requests. Keep in mind it takes 2 weeks after your latest move in to get a move out request.
Ooh that’s good to know. Im not too fussed how long it takes but just want to make sure they do leave at some point! Not a fan of chickens and Ostrich’s!
Lyman is cute! My boyfriend has him and he always says nice things about me after I visit lol. Also on the moving out front, you’ll see a little thought bubble over their heads and when you speak to them they may ask to move out. In New Horizons nobody moves out randomly anymore, you have to give permission. And it only takes 2 days, they’ll ask to move and then the next day be in boxes. Make sure you actually want the villager to move before you give permission because there’s only one way to stop them moving. You would have to make another character and have that person change the villagers mind. I hope you have a lot of fu bc as you play the game! Here’s one important bit of information that I forgot: if someone you want to stay asks to move out, do NOT go forward with the conversation. Instead, reset the game and ignore that villager for the rest of the day. The move out request will transfer to the another villager. It WILL eventually transfer to your targets.
