anyway, I'm looking for 3 trustworthy, fun people who want to hang out a lot. I'd like us to hold theme hangouts (e.g. halloween costumes, christmas...) and to become great friends!

Ooh, a group of four regulars playing ACNL together? Sign me up! Er... I just hope you're okay with a rusty player trying to get back into the swing of things with a relatively new town due to my last SD card that had my old town on it basically committing seppuku.

But yeah, a group of friends to play this game with regularly is honestly a sort of pipe dream I've had for a couple years but could never achieve because all my closest friends don't have or want a 3DS and/or Animal Crossing. The closest I got was this one friend today who played for the first time in like a year for like an hour with me before saying he probably wouldn't pick the game back up again.

As for myself? Mayor Calico of the town of Bluebark. I play every day that I'm able, because ACNL is love, ACNL is life. Especially with a hopefully major content update coming in December! ...Okay, maybe I'm obsessed, but the good part about that is you can count on me to be available most of the day (and night; once I'm able, I'll pass the Night Owl ordinance). Also, possibly due to my obsessive-compulsive tendencies, I never cheat. Did I miss Halloween, my favorite Animal Crossing holiday? Too bad, wait for next year. Attended Halloween, but didn't get the entire "spooky" furniture series because Jack McJerkolantern decided to give me 50 beds? TOO. BAD. For better or worse.

Let's see... what else to tell you about myself... oh, you miiiight want me to be able to have my town host some of these get-togethers, assuming it's not a one-town-fits-all type of group. I'd be totally fine with that, but it won't have much in it; it's newly created, virtually a town-embryo. Remember what I said about "when I'm able" to enact ordinances? That's not because I don't have—and can't be bothered to raise—the funds, but rather because my town was created yesterday. Yeah, it took a while after getting my new memory card to want to start again. That said, I won't be asking for donations for town development, even if you pester me a bunch saying it's really no big deal, as I feel like that isn't how I'd like to remember making my town come to life.

...Phew, I think my post is done, but by the time I've finished writing this, the as-of-now one-post thread will be filled with 30 other candidates after refreshing. I have a habit of writing overly long posts ohgodicantstophelphelphelp

Helloo So I feel kinda silly posting this, because my brain is all 'pfftt who'd want to be friends with you??' but here goes.

I'm Mayor Holly of East Bay (real creative name...), and I try to play everyday, for at least an hour or so, although it usually ends up more like seven hours straight. My town is kind of new -I haven't done much landscaping, but I've unlocked most things on Main Street, got a few pwps, few house expansions, that sort of thing. I created the town earlier this year, but then I gave it a break for a few months and have just returned early September. It's amazing how quickly I have gotten obsessed all over again!

Tbh, I haven't really played ACNL with anyone, unless you count my sister, who runs around stealing my hybrids, and I'd love to have some friends to play with.

Im Mayor Aurielle of JellyBub. My town is quite new as i had to restart due to my ds needing fixing. i try to play in the morning before work but usually online in the afternoon/evening.

Hi! I realise I'm the fourth person to reply and you only needed three, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway! Who knows

I'm Annemarie but my game characters are almost always named Annie because of the character limit, so Maplerow's Mayor is named Annie. I've had my town since january this year (after a lot of towns having been reset, I finally decided to actually stick with one). Landscaping is one of my favorite things to do in the game so I've unlocked a couple of public works projects already, and I was on hiatus as well this summer and got back to it in September, too. I think it was because of the grass colors changing that got me excited to play again! I also have the same obsessive-compulsive attitude toward cheating as one of the other users above mentioned haha :') if I miss a holiday I just view it as a good reason to keep playing acnl around the same time next year!

Edit: oh and my timezone is GMT+2 (Netherlands)! Might be useful to know

By the way, I think after we get all the people we need, we should do a quick assessment/"tour" of each member's town at least enough to get a good feel for which town would fit the get-togethers you have planned ahead of time (for example, if we had, say, a custom hide-and-seek session, a village with lots of hiding places would be the obvious choice).

Sounds good! And it would be fun to see everyones town it would be useful to have maybe like a group for the 4 of us? I don't know if that's possible

EDIT: Welp, after Googling, I have a pretty good idea what it is now, so nevermind. For those reading this who are still in the dark, "the void" is basically where moved out, unclaimed villagers go... TO DIE! ...Or something. They still get transferred to other towns you visit even though they're already gone, and it's kinda weird.
