New or changes in villager personality types you'd like to see in future versions

What changes would you like to see or additions to the personality types in the game for the future?

Id like to see more variety in dialogue like they had in Population Growing. Even if two villagers were the same personality they hardly said the same things. It made the game more exciting, and less repetitive like it is now.

Also another thing Id like to see is have them bring back some of the older villagers if possible.

I'd like to see Chief be changed to either the Smug personality and Whitney be a Peppy personality. The Wolves don't have a lot of variety in personality. Its either Snooty or Cranky besides Kyle who's Smug and Skye who's Normal.

I'd really like it if they brought back Dobie (Lazy, Island Villager from Animal Crossing) and Tarou (Jock, Japanese-only) in the next installment (both are wolves, if you didn't know).

The wolves need some variety. I'd also like to see fox villagers.

I wish they would include more dialogue, first of all. It's a game about talking to your neighbors, so your neighbors should have lots to say! But I also think that they should include a shy personality that takes a while to open up sort of like crankies do.

the shy idea is a good one! i'd agree to that,

i'd like to see them bring back aziz! he was a favorite from the original game.
also i'd like to have a hyper villager, or like.. one that is a little on the crazy side : )
something to liven things up a bit. and add more dialogue and interest to the game.

i agree with the change in dialogue for each villager regardless of their personality type.

All of the old personalities will revert back to their Gamecube ones, you know when they were all hilarious and stuff.

They also need to add in a nerdy personality, and I'm sold.

I'd like each character individually to have more character other than the default personalities with customization mainly in the catchphrases and greetings.

As for a new personality type, I agree that the hyper villagers would be so much fun! Most of the villagers in this game are pretty calm, when in real life, everyone has that one friend who screams all the time

Yes, I'd like the ability to have longer discussions with villagers. After the third time they usually cycle back to something I've heard before.

It would also be great to be able to "unlock" a villager's back story (perhaps after gaining a certain level of friendship). It would feel quite rewarding as it would convey their friendship and trust of you!

I liked the addition of the smug and uchi personalities to New Leaf and 8 personalities is quite a lot. I'm not sure how many more personalities they could add without traits overlapping or becoming "muddled". In lieu of that they could add in more species!

Peppy villagers are hyper enough. I want no new personalities to be honest. I want them to bring back a few older villagers too. I think the uchi's should be renamed tomboy.

I definitely second shy type. Also, I want a daredevil type just for the novelty of it.

Also maybe subtypes or something? Like, there's multiple "jock" types and they'll have subtly different dialogue, for instance. Idk that's something to think about to spice up the dialogue from one character to the next.

I'd also like personality types to be open to any gender. Like you can have jock females, for instance? I know uchi type is supposed to be a "big sister" personality but still, you know?

I love the shy type idea. I think there could also be a naughty or prankster type.

Some of the older villagers, or the villagers that are only in the Japanese games, should be put in the newer games.

I wish the crankies were more cranky, or just plain mean. To me it's kind of a bummer how they turn nice so quick. =[
I also like the prankster/funny one, I feel like Pietro should definitely fit in that category and I would love him even more.
