New NDS Ant-Piracy Software

The new anti-piracy software will start being installed in DS games starting this December. It is geared toward fighting against the R4 in particular. Andrew Mclennan, CEO of U.K.-based Metaforic says,

Well as I said before, I get some of my games not in the most legal way, but this is good news to me because I only use the R4 because I can't buy games knowing that it's possible to play them for free.

That's what I said BEFORE I got the R4. I would love to buy the games, but I'm not gonna pay for them when tons of other people can get them for free in an instant.

I remember they had something like this for Earthbound where once you got to the final boss if it was a pirated game the game would freeze and delete your file.

I know, when you beat possessed pokey he gives his speech about how giygas will always live since giygas is pretty much the meaning of evil (At least what I think he said.) Then when you went to battle giygas' form, the game crashed like you said.
