This might have already been touched on, but something I noticed was that a message-in-a-bottle didn't spawn right away when I first logged on. After about 30 minutes of doing daily tasks, I saw one washed up. Then, after visiting another player's island (I don't know if this has anything to do with it), I saw yet another message-in-a-bottle. Has this happened to anyone else?

My daily bottle still showed up right away for me. But I've definitely had times where a second message in a bottle randomly appeared. It's pretty rare though.

i've only ever seen one bottle a day, and it's always showed up immediately. every once in a while i'll find another one on a nook miles island, but it's rare.
edit: did you have star fragments on your beach? maybe that affects when bottles spawn?

I didn't have any star fragments. I've also never had a second bottle ever so maybe I just missed the first one? It's unlikely though because I walked the entire shore-length twice.

that's interesting...i wonder if it has anything to do with the update or if it was just a rare occurence.
