Just a few hours ago, I have submitted my most recent Lego project - the Lego Studio. It's a building where you have two swappable movie sets and a few other things.

The model I submitted was submitted to a part of the Lego company - Lego Ideas. A month before I joined Bell Tree, I joined this site to share a model I made 7 months ago. The purpose of the site is where one can join to share their models they made either in real life or on the Lego Digital Designer. The first step is to build the model. The LDD is not only cheaper, but has no limit on how many bricks of one kinds you can have. However, they get a better experience if they did it in real life. They can submit when they're done, but they're gonna need pictures, a clear description, and a few other stuff. After submission, it is up for approval. If accepted, it will be up for support. If rejected, it will not be published. My recent model, the Lego Studio, was accepted.

Now here is your job: If you want to help me out by supporting my Lego model, join the Lego Ideas site, find the Lego Studio, and click support. If you want to know what I'm talking about, I linked my project here (click on Lego Studio to get there quickly). You cannot support if you don't have an account. Also, if you don't like my model, don't support it. What happens here is that if the project gets 10,000 supporters within one year, it has a possibility of becoming a real Lego model, sold at the stores.

Before you support, please read these rules. They are part of the terms of service, not my rules, but I don't want to break them either.

  • You have to be at least 18 years or older to join. Of course, you can join between ages 13 to 17, but you're gonna need parental permission to do so. As a result, it's better off if you're 18 or older. But kids ages 12 and under cannot join no matter what the cause is, even if Lego's target audience is always kids.
  • Like Bell Tree, DO NOT create multiple accounts to boost support. This is considered cheating. Besides, it's based on number of people, not number of accounts.
  • DO NOT advertise my project in other projects' comments. This is against the rules, as it's considered spam.
  • DO NOT insult anyone's works. This is also against the rules.
  • DO NOT make copies of my model and sell them. Since it's on the LDD, it's nearly impossible to do it, but still don't. It's illegal.
  • Acceptable Advertising:
    • On your Facebook
    • On your Twitter
    • On Tumblr
    • On other mainstream social networking sites
  • Unacceptable Advertising:
    • On other comments on other projects.
    • Sending VMs or PMs to other users on TBT to advertise.
    • Creating forums or posts that advertise on TBT.

And another thing, you don't have to join just to support my model. If you want to support other models, that's fine too. Supporting them doesn't create competition for mine. It just means that they're getting more support. This is like YouTube videos getting more views, not like a political candidate getting more votes.

Finally, the rest of the process goes as this: Once a Lego project gets 10,000 supporters, Lego will evaluate the project. It takes a year to review them to see if they are okay. If accepted, it will become an actual Lego model, distributed to the stores. If rejected, it will not be distributed. In order for Lego to evaluate it, it needs to have 10,000 supporters within one year. If it doesn't get to that point before one year is up, it will fail.

Welp, I'm kinda done here. I'm gonna take a break from this site. Have fun supporting.
