So, I was reading something today on Forbes about the top billionaires and their families and whatnot and I thought to myself I don't really know who the super rich in New Leaf are, or if that's such a thing. So I'm asking you community do you have any stories of friends being very wealthy or consider yourself so, do you have max cash on all four characters, every square filled with crowns, or do you consider yourself a pauper of sorts, or does wealth not matter to you at all, OR does wealth have a different definition then just money in ACNL?

I don't see what the big deal is, it's not very hard to make bells on this game lol. I recently reset (about 2 weeks ago) and I have like too many bells already from very little effort, yay for turnips!

Wealth doesn't matter to me. So what if you have a lot of Bells? You can only spend them. Plus, the game wouldn't be fine IMO if it was just about how much many Bells you can make.

Everyone on this forum is so rich. I only have about 100k bells and I'm fine with it. It'd be nice to have more so I could get stuff done quicker, but I could always make more pretty easily with some time.

i think the richest people are the people that are constantly giving away bells, items, or just anything. they are probably well off so they probably help out other people because of that

Or the ones who sell furniture and whatnot.

WOW. I didn't think this would get this much attention already. I guess I'm getting better about discussions, haha. =) Thanks so far for your input guys, it's really enlightening.

I am happy being rich.
So what I have lots of bells, I wanna get my town done. Help out my friends. Give stuff away. Make a Giveaway.

I used to have +100 mil. bells in my bank account but that was before I entered the dreamies market

I think there are multiple definitions of rich. The most I've ever managed to save up was 1 million. As soon as I read, "Do you consider yourself rich?" I immediately thought, "Rich in love." Lol. Anyway, as long as I'm happy with my town and neighbors, then I am content. I think my neighbors are the most important part of the game.

New Leaf is probably the easiest game in the entire series to make bells in. I got enough bells to pay off my loan on the day I talked to Nook almost every time! Of course, the multiplayer economy should be taken into account too. On here I've seen people spend upwards of 10 mil on one transaction. I'm pretty sure that almost everyone active in Re-Tail has a pretty good amount of bells.

I, personally, don't spend my bells very often. I actually forget how many bells I have exactly at the moment, but if I look in the bank...
Around 2.5 mil. Definitely not that much relative to the other players I've seen, but if I ever need more I can just sell some of the hybrids and wetsuits I've stockpiled.

I mean some people get rich off of selling things. xD

yeah ik lol but selling items is one of the slowest ways to get bells unless its unorderables lol turnips are the best way to go if you want to be rich and don't have a cycling town or unorderables

Yes, I have my fair share of rates and more than my fair share of hybrids. I also have 50m+ on top of that and multiple thousands of TBT bells. Not sure if that's actually a bragging right but whatever.

Kind of? I mean, I thought I was pretty rich until I joined this forum.
I have the gold savings badge (and still have that much in my ABD) if that means anything, haha.

Honestly, since all my houses are done, all my PWPs are built, and my catalog complete (almost, darn stationery), I don't really need 100 mil, but I'm saving it just in case my boyfriend or I want to buy an expensive villager.

Yep.
50-65 million in all four of my towns.
I like giving bells :) I pay off pwp when I'm in a town. I'll leave some 99k bags around random towns.
