New Leaf Villager in new Smash Bros Game?!

i saw that in the new smash bros game, there will be an Animal Crossing New Leaf basic villager (like a mayor) character.

i am so excited to get that game now, just to play as that character
is anyone else excited?

he looks pretty cheap, i'm not all that excited about him. i preferred mewtwo.

he reminds me of Ness. i think that's why they put him in. As like a replacement.

I don't think Villager is replacing Ness anytime soon, their playstyles are too different.

I'm really excited to try out all the newcomers in Smash. I really want to play as Megaman because of the fact that its Mega Man in Smash and Rosalina looks pretty interesting.

He's more like the City Folk villager. His introduction contains a lot of New Leaf elements, true, but his design is closer to the older games (specifically Wild World and City Folk). I wonder if this'll mean anything about the models of the future Animal Crossing games (probably not).
