New leaf update

Has there been a date set for the new update? or are they still trolling with just saying coming this fall? I've waiting for this update to happen and have been wanting to begin collecting amiibo cards and figures just for the update. I may even get a third cartridge depending how my second looks villager wise.

I know that the physical copy with update is pre-orderable in UK(i pre-ordered it on amazon.co.uk today). Comes out on November 25th and the new amiibo cards on the 11th November, if that helps.
