In both physical and digital copies, New Leaf has done something only Wild World did before it- cross the 10 million unit mark! Even Happy Home Designer reached 3 million in less than a year, showing yet again this series sells very, VERY well in handheld variations. So much so, they're now making an Animal Crossing app for smartphones! In any event, congratulations to New Leaf, only the second game in the series to reach the highly revered 10 million mark!

Well for now. I bet Nintendo will leave the upcoming AC games to the handheld only. Just like Pokemon.
New Leaf has about everything a fan would want, that's why its so popular. Maybe the next game might have something better for the fans. Like, adding a Happy Home Designer-like gimmick to the next main game. (So long, plot resetting!)

Ohhhh I never knew they're making an AC app for phones? That would be really great actually.
I do think this is the best I've seen of AC, apart from some missing activities. I just wish they have incorporated the way houses are designed in home designer I to new leaf as a dlc. But never mind

Nintendo has really been making their games more accesable to audiences, and I think this show with AC:NL. Also show with FE:A. I've only contributed 1 of those 10 mil.
