🏝️New Horizons Update Version 3.0 Giveaway🏝️ With the release of the Free Update Ver.3.0 and Nintendo Switch 2 Edition for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, we thought a giveaway would be the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of Kapp'n's family and much more! We'll be raffling off Nintendo eShop cards for 2 lucky winners, which can be used to buy the Switch 2 Upgrade Pack (or if you don't have a Switch 2, whatever else you like)! As a bonus, every entry will earn 30 Bells! You can enter up to twice to earn Bells (60 Bells total), but each member will only be entered into the Nintendo eShop card raffle once. 🎟️ How to Enter Take an in-game screenshot showing one of your favorite features from the Ver.3.0 Free Update! This could be a room you decorated in your hotel, using the new collaboration items, making a Slumber Island with friends, or more! Write a caption for your image (1-3 sentences). Include two screenshots in total: Your entry A proof shot of your in-game character saying your TBT username. Check the entry box when posting. You have until 11:59 PM EST on 21 January 2026 to enter. Good luck! 🎟️ Prizes Two winners will each receive one Nintendo eShop gift card valued at: USD $10 (United States), CAD $10 (Canada), GBP £15 (United Kingdom), EU €15 (Europe), or AUD $15 (Australia). Unfortunately, we're unlikely to be able to provide eShop cards for other regions, sorry! Each member with at least one accepted entry will be entered into a randomly drawn raffle (one raffle entry per member). Every entry will earn 30 Bells, and each member can enter up to twice to earn Bells (60 Bells total). Entries should contain a short caption of 1-3 sentences. Your entry must contain two screenshots: one of your entry, and one of your in-game character saying your TBT username as proof. Do not edit your post after submitting unless asked by staff. Check the entry box to mark your submission as an entry (but if you forget, we'll fix this for you). 🎟️ Frequently Asked Questions Q: Do I have to use the Ver.3.0 Free Update? A: Yes! We're excited to celebrate these new features during this giveaway. Q: Is there a word limit to the description? A: You won't be penalized, but three sentences at most, please! Q: May player characters, villagers, or NPCs be in the screenshots? A: Of course! Q: Can I use custom designs created by other people? A: Yes. Q: Can I exclude my player character from the scene? A: Yes, just make sure they are in your proof photo saying your TBT username. Q: Can I use in-game filters or frames? A: Yes! Q: I can’t upload screenshots. Can I submit a photo of my screen instead? A: You can, just make sure it's clear, and remember to include both required photos. Q: Can I use a custom design that says my TBT username instead of showing my character saying it? A: Yes, that's perfectly fine. Q: How do I take photos and screenshots in Animal Crossing: New Horizons? A: To take a screenshot, press the ⧇ "Capture Button" (a square button with a circle inside of it) on the left Joy-Con. You can take pictures using the Camera app in your Nook Phone. To access the Camera app, press the "SL" button on the left Joy-Con to bring up your Nook Phone menu, and then select the purple Camera or Pro Camera app. While in the Camera app, take a picture by pressing the "+" button on the right Joy-Con.
