Can everyone just imagine how much trading there will be when the game releases, especially if there's things like regional exclusives and stuff.

Nightmarish.

I'm hoping there aren't any upgrades to buildings that require visiting other island hundreds of times.

I do not enjoy that part of the game.

Yeah it's gonna be pretty crazy but I'm looking forward to island hopping! I'm just wondering how item trades will take place now that we can place actual furniture items on the floor. Will random visitors be able to pick up "placed furniture" or will there be an option to place a "leaf" version on the floor for trades? I really hope for the latter.

I can imagine this would be easy to obtain in the early stages of the game because there'll be so much activity and trading going on, kinda how new leaf was at launch. Although that would definitely suck for people who don't like multiplayer play as much. If there are multiple upgrade stages unlike new leaf's "one upgrade" for the train station, I just don't want them to "up" the quota with that new mileage system in place (eg. first upgrade costs 50 visits, second upgrade costs 100, 150 etc.)

I'm not a multiplayer fan really.
I play the game with my partner, and that's it.

If I remember correctly there is the possibility to decide if dropping furniture as furniture or as a leaf

I'm definitely not a multiplayer person, either. It was one of the things that originally drew me to the game on the GC. I hope the option to unlock and upgrade will be there for those of us who aren't into online play.

The price to items will defintly skyrocket in TBT as they will be harder to obtain. I look foward to getting some reginaol exclusive items though.

When New Leaf came out, the site was booming in traffic and trading was actually fun since people didn't already have everything cataloged. I think New Horizons will have the same feeling, and I'm excited for it!

I guess it will be very chaotic for a while, especially if we may getting new villagers and everyone wants
them. But just the items alone will cause a huge madness at the Re-Tail board already. I'm actually can't
wait for this to be honest, lol.

It's going to be fun! Maybe crazy too? Yeah, probably pretty crazy at first, but I bet it will slow down after awhile. I plan on doing a lot of trading because I love helping other people out with things they need. So hopefully I'll have lots of fun doing it! ^-^

I'm wondering if they'll have as much version exclusive stuff as they did in NL. We'll have to form a list once more to collect them all! I'm excited to be apart of the trading boards again! That's why I'm trying to stock up as much TBT as I can haha.

I hope they will do it, the trade is a good part of the game. I like it.

I'm personally super excited!! I love trading and multiplayer gaming (perhaps to a fault...I have wasted too much time/money on many mediocre games because I was having fun socializing haha). I haven't touched my New Leaf game in some time just because for me, it does get a bit boring on my own now that I have everything I want as far as clothing and furniture go. I'm excited to start over fresh on a new game trading whatever I can to get random items and playing with a bunch of people in the same boat as me.

I really hope to see the return of regional exclusives. Those were a pain to get a hold of in New Leaf, but in a weird way, I kind of enjoyed going through all of that. I'm also excited to make new friends by trading.

With this word change, all I can picture now when I read this thread is the New York Stock Exchange in Wall Street.

Hopefully this game's trading doesn't close after 4PM.

The first months of a new Animal Crossing game are so fun. I love all the trading and the fullness of the online community. I love playing with others and I just hate how its so dead now.

I prefer to hold off on the trading to get most of the things myself, but I expect this place to be popping.
I look forward to making a shop down the line. :)

It's going to cost a small fortune for a switch and the game, then I have to shell out for an account to play online (trade).

I'm not an online player.

Looking for deals on a certain auction site for Nintendo online helps....not that I recommend it
