Hi, I'm fairly new to ACNH and im still trying to get to grips with all you can do swo im not up to visiting others yet but I wish you luck with yours. I too have pears.

You can invite people over to your island via a dodo code (get it via dodo airport) or other people can give you their dodo code so you can travel to them. When on another island you can drop items, materials or fruit or plant flowers you brought (that's how people trade with each other on the forums).
To get a dodo code or travel yourself, head over to the airport and talk to Orville (via local play means only with friends you have on your switch, via online play means with anyone in the world)
