I don't see the appeal in being invisible. Unless its a superiority complex. Were you can know someone's online and they can't know you are, etc.... I dunno, that's just me. People have their reasons. SOME people can be REAL pests though and VM you every 2 seconds if they see that green circle next to your username though....
 
Disband's sudden inactivity is kinda concerning, maybe he bought that thing from walmart, oh man walmart...
