New DLC question

My nearest Nintendo Zone is unfortunately at a McDonalds, so do I have to be inside the building to download the item, or just around it? Where I'm at, when you go into a fast food place, you're expected to buy something, and I'd rather not get anything from there. :/

As long as your DS can see the internet from the Nintendo Zone, you should be fine, you can check that easily by hitting the home button and checking your wi-fi in the top left corner. I'm going to buy a small orange juice or a McMuffin personally. XD
