Wait, so you just keep resetting as your mayor the day after the campsite was built? Is it the day the campsite is officially built (day after paying it off) or is it the day AFTER the campsite has been there?

Also, just be careful. You only get this guaranteed camper thing ONCE per town! You have to make sure you want that villager! I spent a while, came across a few that interested me like Kabuki, but I settled on Merengue.

I took advantage of this when I built the campsite in my 2nd town. It's really handy but if you soon get bored of the whole new character routine like me you might not get as far as a dreamy ahah, I stopped when I got to Fauna, squee Fauna (all ended up good!).

I kept going until I got either:

Rocco/Shari/Nana/Amelia/Tucker/Snake/Merengue

I got Merengue.
