I have a feeling its better off to make a 2nd Nintendo account. I have 4 accounts and l have extra because idk if my main account with the game data will overwrite another game data for the same game.
I would try to look up about this curious question too just in case. Because l don't really know what will happen exactly, l have a feeling it won't do anything but l also have a feeling it will do something.
also you can always do a test by making two new accounts and don't use the main account and see what happens

Gotcha, that's kind of what I'm thinking too. I really don't want anything to happen to my main island, so I probably should just make a second Nintendo account to be safe.

yeah and plus with other games you can have more profiles which is also why l have 4 accounts
