I have been playing AC since Wild World and i have never seen a tarantula or scorpion

Maybe you amassed too many flowers by the time you reached summer? They are harder to spot amongst flowers and in my opinion, a lot harder to catch. Clear some of your town during summer and you'll probably come across one or two.

wow! maybe it is the flowers thing? or maybe you've just never played late at night but i doubt it if you've been playing this long...
it seems kind of unlucky since that means you've never completed the bug encyclopedia, but it's generally agreed that scorpions and tarantulas are the scariest parts of animal crossing, so maybe you're a little lucky at the same time

You know whats crazy i never decorated and never felt i had enough flowers. And i used to always play at night because of school and lately i do because of work. But hope never came across one.

I think that is incredibly lucky and I'm happy you didn't get bitten by a scorpion when you just wanted to step away from the plaza for a bit to look at the fireworks :') but also considering the circumstances you mentioned yeah that is kind of weird :0

I think I have seen a scorpion once, but haven't caught it..
I also have never been able to catch that white bug that sits on white flowers! It drives me crazy! I sometimes see it fly away when I run past it, but when I actively try to sneak around and catch it I never ever find it.
