Nendoroids; Any collectors? Help?

Hey there guys! I come asking this question, because I need some help..

I just received my Alice Cartelet Nendoroid today. I adore her, but here's the problem; She's got some sort of glue residue on one of her faces. At first I thought it was just a stain, but upon putting it into light it's glossy, like some sort of glue. Out of the light it just looks like a small grey-ish stain. Her smiling face also has a very small piece that looks out of place, almost like an error in the mould? Any advice for this?

Edit: I am.. very, very dumb. That 'mould error' was just a hair that was stuck on her face.. I got it off pretty easily just now. Ugh.

Unfortunately I don't have access to take any pics. I used a bit of nail polish remover very carefully (I know it can remove the decals.) And it's definitely better. The greyness seems to be gone, but the stuff is still there. When I rub my finger over it I can feel it there, so it's on the top. Definitely some sort of glue.

out of curiosity then, where/when did you buy it? also, was it used? obviously not going to claim as such without any real info, but I am slightly suspicious of if yours is a bootleg or not

I purchased it directly from Amazon, sold and shipped from there, on Saturday. Not used, brand new, everything still in plastic. Sticker of authenticity was there. Everything else was painted very well, the only issue here is this stuff on one of the faces.

Sadly, seems that way.. it doesn't matter too much to me since the face that was affected was luckily my least favorite one. The other two are still in tact. Also, quick question; I also purchased a Miyako Nendoroid and she also came in today. She comes with a blank face and a sheet of face stickers; Do you know how to apply them?

Ah, one more thing, if possible.. If you have it, could you perhaps show me a photo of the Alice Cartelet nendoroid you have? I'm sure mine isn't a bootleg, but it wouldn't hurt to compare. The official photos aren't really reliable, since they're so perfect.

Sadly, seems that way.. it doesn't matter too much to me since the face that was affected was luckily my least favorite one. The other two are still in tact. Also, quick question; I also purchased a Miyako Nendoroid and she also came in today. She comes with a blank face and a sheet of face stickers; Do you know how to apply them?

you just peel whichever ones off the sheet you want to use and stick them on where you want them to go, nothing really beyond that. though it of course would be advised to do a quick clean of the face first, to minimize any dust/debris getting between the faceplate and sticker(s)


actually haven't used mine, since I like the idea of the blank face (because of a certain other anime the studio made around the same time) and don't want to mess up my own sheet (maybe if GSC ever put individual blank faceplates for sale....) or the faceplate with being potentially restricted to just one, but there being multiples of the same expressions is of course so people can have spares if one gets destroyed when applying another

Ah, I see. I may just leave mine be. It would be nice if they sold things like blank face plates and joints, though..

I'm super excited for the Korra nendoroid! Wonder Festival is actually this month, and they'll be unveiling a lot of announcements and prototypes. Crossing my fingers to see the Meta Knight and Elise Nendoroid prototypes!
I'll be preordering the Cyan and Aoba Suzukaze Nendoroids soon, I hope. I want to order Isabelle, but I can't find her anywhere!

I looked on Amazon and saw the Majora's Mask Link one for $35, maybe someday my parents will let me get it XD.

I actually ordered that one and he's coming tonight! I'm really glad they partnered up with Nintendo to make these things. If I recall there's Toon Link, Majora's Mask Link, Megaman, Mario, Luigi, Kirby, and Toon Zelda coming up soon.

By the way, I just looked them up on Amazon. Toon Link and Megaman are both 37 dollars each, and are Prime, if you have that. They're shipped and sold directly from Amazon, so returns are pain-free.

You're so lucky! That Nendoroid Petite set is adorable. I find it astonishing how Good Smile manages to be able to make some of these things. I play (Er.. did, before the devs decided to leave the North America server to die..) a game called Dragon Nest that I felt nobody else liked. That was until the game's iconic NPC, Irine, got a Nendoroid of herself. I was shocked!

its actually pretty amazing how much she's managed to elude me due to not realizing she was up for preorder or having her planned release date being at a bad time due to enough other higher priority things being scheduled for around then as well


actually, I'd say Nintendo nendos in general are a bit guilty of this. only ones so far I've had generally good luck with are Zelda and Kirby series ones, and one of these right now only has literally one thing out or on preorder.

though the Pokemon ones are a different issue entirely that is basically a combination of not being able to just preorder them on GSC's store like everything else due to TPC wanting to be the main retailer or whatever, and the international release boxes not having the numbers on them

Same omg. It'll probably be a while since we haven't even seen the prototype yet (hopefully soon! Wonder Festival is this month!) I'm also crazy hyped for the Meta Knight Nendoroid. He'll match the Kirby Nendoroid and will be a great addition to anyone who wants to make a Super Smash Bros. themed scene.

My Link: Majora's Mask Ver. Nendoroid just came in! The amount of details are astonishing, frankly. His itty bitty shield has a handle on it that swivels in every direction. He even comes with Tatl! It's so perfect oh my gosh.

Do! I just got him in from Amazon and he's adorable. Face plates were hard to put in (mostly due to my stupidity. Wasn't aware they changed the face plate designs.) but the design is amazing.
