Ok, so ya, just TT 1 day at a time. Each day, talk to everyone, and if someone you like asks, you can tell them to stay. Just do it until the one you don't like asks to leave. If you say ok, and they change their mind, reset (quit without saving). Talk to them again and they'll hopefully decide to go again. Also, do favors and try to become friends faster with the ones you DON'T like, as that has proven to be the fastest way for them to want to go.
OH and make sure you have beautiful town ordinance set before you start doing all this TT-ing.
