Need terraforming help

I'm having troubles making a circular river surrounding a circular island.

I wanted to have a little enclosed island that had all the Celeste diy build and thrown around for a starry place but I honestly cannot make a circle LOL.
Does anyone have like a guide or something that can help out? I always somehow end up with a square that has rounded corners that somewhat resemble a circle.

How big do you want your island to be? Since you're limited to 45 and 90 degree angles, you can't make a perfect circle, but larger islands can be made to look more circular while an octagon is probably the best you can do with a smaller island.

This is about what I have and the approximate size I wanted. A little bigger would be fine as well xD I sort of gave up and it just looks like a round square

It looks good! I think if you added 3 tiles of land in the middle top & bottom, then rounded out the edges, and dug accordingly on the outside of the river, you'd get a little bit more of a round (or oval, I guess) shape. But it looks nice as it is!
