hey guys, I was wondering how to make pink , purple and orange roses, I have tried so may times but still nothing I think I am doing something wrong.I would love some advice on how to breed and make them as I have had trouble making it happen.
Orange and purple roses are usually easy to get. Yellow and red roses for orange, white roses for purple. The trick is to put fertilizer next to them and water them. It might take more than one try for the pink ones, put it's the same, red roses or red and white roses plus fertilizer.
I can totally see where breeding can be a hassle! Flowers can be a pain, lol.
Here is the rose breeding guide for reference- just in case you may have the wrong combinations:
Some extra tips: 1. It's a lot easier to get hybrids by planting your roses in an oblique pattern. 2.Watering them with the golden watering also heightens the chances of rare flowers. You get the watering can from Isabelle by having a perfect town status for 10 straight days. 3. Lastly, if you have Jacobs Ladder flowers- that spawn on cliffs when you have a perfect town rating- you can place them by your breeding flowers to also increase the chances of rare breeds.
If it helps, I put my flowers in alternating diagonal pattern with a space in between so that a hybrid will spawn there. So say you planted a red rose, skip a space to your right or left, and plant another red in the same direction. Above the skipped space, plant a white and another white below the skipped space. Continue this pattern if you have a lot of flowers and you'll see the alternating pattern I mentioned. (I.e. so start of red space red space. Above and below pattern is space white space white. Alternate! Must have a space between each flower but every flower must be touching diagonally.)
Then, to up your chances for a hybrid to appear, use a gold watering can.
You will have a hybrid appear in any of the empty spaces. Remove them and keep going! In my example, this is how you can achieve pink roses.
Please check the chart mentioned above by Mayor Monday to see what combinations yield the results you seek.
Hopefully this all makes sense!
This is just how I've always achieved my hybrids!
