Need some furniture advice

Hey all! I just re-started my town, so my house is pretty barren right now, but I'm pretty sure I know what I want to do with it. I want it to be a giant wardrobe, essentially. One room sort of set up like a designing office, but I want the other rooms to be display spaces for specific clothing (dresses, shoes, hats, ect).

But the problem is that if I just display things in straight rows on the ground it'll just be cluttered and boring. So I need like tables to set things on? I know display cases are sold at the museum, but I also know they're kind of finicky and are very limited in what they can actually display.

So ah, any ideas?

I know most tables you can rest things on, but I'd like a small one that only takes up one space. Is there are comprehensive list of ACNL furniture somewhere?
