The reason I dont wanna reset is cause I have everything paid off I like my themed house I have 20 million bells stored away a perfect town. Have the cafe police station the emporium.
Reasons why I wanna reset are I dont like my town layout I dont really like my villagers I TT too much and it kinda ruined it for me I think. Like I was having the best time when I didnt TT but when I started...it didnt stop. I prolly TT'd two weeks every actual day. I also dont like my towns name lol. Anyone has in/or had the dilema? What was your outcome? And any advice?

If you have any good friends who'd be willing to help you out, you could ask them to hold your items and money until you get a town you like.

I really want the police station >.< lol

But if you're really unhappy you should reset or it will just bug you and get worse...

You could always give a friend your bells and items to hold whilst you reset and go collect them back again after?

Failing that, you could always buy another version of AC (digital if you have physical and visa-versa)... and have two towns xD

Yeah I wanna be able too trust someone with my stuff while I reset but I dont really have anyone that im 'good friends' with

I resetted my original town after being so sick of my layout and the one I have know, I really love :) It turned out great for me, I have better villagers that I obtained with the resetting trick (lots of work though) and I'm happy with the outcome, but honestly ... the job of getting back to where I was again was AWFUL. You have to go through SO much, from getting your development permit to building a relationship with villagers to unlocking all your shops. If you are dedicated to go through all that, then go for it!

In my opinion, the thought of resetting is like a bomb. At the moment, for you, it's ticking - you're thinking about, but you're not sure - right? Well that bomb is sure going to explode some day and then you are going to reset and you will probably have come further than you have come to this date - so the option is to force yourself to like your town, just the way it is or reset before it's too late and make somebody hold your bells :)

I wouldn't buy another copy (:

Yeah If I can find someone trustworthy too hold my stuff I will prolly do it

I think the best thing to do is to just adapt to your layout, tt back to today, sell junk, get some people to clean your town if you don't like it and get new villagers.

Reseting just sucks and nobody who has a brain would do it if their town is already quite amazing

Personally I'd start from scratch. You said you TTed, so the money and items could also feel 'contaminated' by the TTing too. Unless you plan on TTing again once you reset - if you are then just ignore this sentence :X
I'm sure someone on here will offer to hold them for you, you just need to decide what's more of an issue to you: trusting someone for a short amount of time with everything or continuing with your town/starting from scratch.

I actually have the same problem, and I do think I will be resetting just because I want to experience the game all over and work hard for all the accomplishments again.

I don't have anyone I can trust with my items/bells either, but then again what's the fun in restarting if you're going to have it easy your second time around by having all those extra bells and items?

I agree you should reset, but I don't think you should transfer your items/bells, because it would defeat the purpose of resetting in the first place (except for the fact that resetting does give you a new map and new villagers).

Its a toss up if I should give someone my bells then get it back

I time travelled to get the EU exclusives for trading and now when I watch the credits (by sitting under the tree) my shop upgraded in 2012 lol. (before I came mayor in july)... >.<

There's plenty of people who are happy to help store items etc.

I'm also looking too make actual friends while playing. Like helping each other out and visiting others towns and chilling at each others towns!

Well it's up to you. If I were to reset I would take enough bells to pay off my tent immediately (and if someone does run off with it it's not too much) and visit someone's Shampoodle to get rid of the newbie hairstyle.

I would take all the money you want for your whole house and projects you may want to do. Also, find someone with a really high wifi rating. No one wants their money stolen :c

If they don't like their layout now, they won't like it later. It's easy for some people to adapt quickly, others can't.
