So I'm making a new town (on my second copy).
It's going to be game themed. I'm having animal crossing Mario party, hide and seek, deal or no deal and more, but I need more ideas about games I can play. I also need ideas on town name and villagers. It's 100% game themed. Any help will be awesome! I'm going to open it up so I can play with other people too.

I went with
'Host' from 'Gamefall'

QR codes are gonna be a must, either made by you or hunted down. You're gonna want to go with a lot of bright colors and utilize PWPs like the screen and stadium lights to give it a game feel. I also suggest trying to get a map with an isolated section of land you can plant hella trees in, in order to make hide and seek a bit more viable.

I also highly suggest using villager homes as your "Game Shows" in a sense. There's a lot of cool things you can use, such as the spinning wheel from Pietro's house, the game show stands, and the electronic wall signs and decorations.

The thing is it's gonna take a lot of plotting because if you want to do a mario party thing then you need to have a lot of dedicated space. I highly suggest using a pattern to plot your course and then plant small PWPs in various spots in order to minimize villager move-ins. You'll need to utilize plot resetting.

As for the villagers themselves, it's really up to you. You can theme them to look like Game show contestants, and if you do that I totally suggest a mix of the nerdier villagers (i.e Filbert) with a few "suave" villagers (Hate to say it but like...psh Marshal x3).
You want a mix because lots of different people participate in Game Shows so you want to represent a wide variety of people.

You can go a different direction and make them your "employees" in a sense. Villagers like Monique who are meant to come off as more "ladylike" can represent the ladies often used on shows like Wheel of Fortune and Price is Right. You can get more gentlemanly villagers (Smugs definitely come to mind) and dress them formally to make them come off as hosts or employees.

Also I highly suggest maybe making one villager house a "Hotel" of sorts, with a downstairs "casino." You'll prolly need to be creative but it would make sense since people travel from all over to be in game shows!

Anyway that's really all the ideas I have. What you're doing is going to be a lot of hard work but it will look really awesome when it's done. It'll definitely be a nice spin on the usual things people do while playing AC, so I definitely say go for it~

Ah, nice idea for a town, Slammint.

I say, go for bright coloured villagers, like Pietro. They will give off a happy, gamey theme.

And maybe you could make the path similar to the ones in board games? That would be really cool. You could invite people and play one big board game!

The Mayor, and other playable characters could be dressed to fit the theme of their game. Peach for the Mario Party house, if you're having one, for instance.

If you need any help, just tell me. Although, I won't be able to help for a couple weeks because I'm in the great land of Sweden. I can give you all my Nintendo things, if you want.

For Mario party, someone gave me permission to use there paths/ideas. So I'm sorted with that, I'm thinking of charging around 20tbt to enter and play for around 2-3 hours. It will be properly sorted out.
I didn't think of Pietro! So far I only thought of the bubblegum twins. I'm looking for lots of colourful villagers.
There is going to be Trivia and Mario Party and deal and no deal and more. I think people would like it.
Thanks, I didn't think about some of your ideas!

Omg that would be awesome, I was plot resetting earlier and came across Skye so I had to stop for a couple of days as she is one of 4 Dreamies left for my other town. I was already thinking about the villagers such as The bubblegum twins. Also that's a good idea with the houses, I could have link, Mario, Lugi and my main character (Host) as Princess Peach. I can't wait for this to happen, it's going to be awesome xD

It really depends on the game:
For Deal Or No Deal, I can imagine Francine and Chrissy as game show hosts
If you want to do Trivia, use Graham
If you want to go for a sport game, like Wipeout, go for Kid Cat

Also, I suggest making an arcade where poeple can chill while you to set things up. Here's my arcade

Omg and the people can wait in there while I'm setting up a mini game or something. Errrggg
I was thinking of having the villagers houses as 'drop offs' so if you want a tour if you come you can go to all the villagers houses that are game themed. I have to do this now. I MUST.
Totally got to do this. I need to set everything up first. Whoop I can't wait :DDD
This has to happen now. You can pay like 20tbt if you want to come for 3 hours.
Yes. :3
