Need help

This is a very stupid question to ask but how do you remove a Wallpaper for a PC?
The desktop background in other words.

idk, I think you go into computer and then settings/preferences?

You can't remove it. But you can change it.

Ok then, how do I change it back to the normal Windows XP blue one?

Control panel, then display, then just work it out from there.

 

[Gnome]

Right click properties, and then work on from there.

I can't actually see an option to change it back to the old plain windows wallpaper.

below are step by step instructions to help you out.
1. go onto the desktop and right-click
2. scroll down to properties
3. click on the desktop tab.
4. assuming that you havent changed the color in the color box (on the right, below the "position" tab) scroll up to the top of the background options and you should see one that says "none"
5. click none (at the top of the background options)
6. voila! your wallpaper is now the original windows background!
