Need help with my island.

Im currently restarting it because I never really liked where I put Nook's Services building...
I wish that building can be moved...
Anyone willing to help me drop some stuff over?
I have some questions for using the sand path way.
Can only palm trees be planted?
I want to make the ground all sand but the cliffs have some greenery like an oasis base theme.
Any ideas I can use to incorporate it?

As for your questions, I think only palm trees can be planted on sand. But you can always leave a single square of grass uncovered to allow other trees to grow. Flowers can also be planted on sand, but they won’t progress in their life cycle (i.e. they will stall at whatever stage you planted them).

In any case my villager is Biscuit from Glenwood.
So I will have to plan accordingly to make the cliffs all greenery with some sand to allow trees and flowers to grow.

Pretty much, although you can still cover most of the island in sand if that’s what you’re going for!

I don't know about cedar since I don't have any of those on my island, but hardwood and fruit trees cannot be placed on the sand path from my experience. Like I said, bamboo trees and bushes can be planted on the sand path, BUT bamboo and bushes cannot be planted on the beach.
