possibly in the wrong thread, but I'd love it if somebody could help me out with clovers... i need loads to fill my town...

i also need tons of bushes and cedars.. but they can wait for now.

Seems like clovers have been in high demand lately, so you may want to head to the Re-Tail board and see if you can find someone selling any :)

I have some already but I was kinda hoping if somebody could dupe them for me... but I have a feeling thats frowned upon here so I'll just stick to buying i guess.

I'd love to TT to obtain them.. but my flowers and villagers :(

Yes, duping is against the forum rules. Good luck getting some clovers :D

Do clovers show up if you have the beautiful ordinance? if so, i could figure out a way to tt without villagers moving.

Yes they do, and apparently there is about a 1 in 40 chance it will be a lucky clover v a regular clover.
To TT without losing a villager: wait for someone to ping to move and deny their request. Save and quit, and then you can TT to whenever because no one can have the opportunity to move until you load up your game again, no matter the date. This is how people take breaks without risking a loss.

Clovers can still show up, but they will still be rare and most will just be "weeds" that you pull instead of the actual clover. If you do tt, you can place all your hybrids in your storage or house. As for villagers you can do the trick where you wait til one pings to move and you could either make them stay or make them leave, doesn't matter which (probably the choice to stay since you didn't sound like you wanna give any villager up now) and tt as far as you want without worrying about another villager moving. Make sure beautiful ordinance isn't on either and make lots of room for many weeds and clovers.

You also have the option of going on TBT marketplace and buying clovers for about 10ish tbt each so that's an option.

I dont have many tbt, but i am search for them using IGB and the TBT that i do have. and I think I will try TTing later.
I'm not too bothered about them not being "legit lucky clovers" I'm more bothered about them filling my paths, i can pick up and remove those where I don't want them, but i think i will try that later.

whats a good amount of time to TT to allow them to appear?

Some people tt by month, others tt by year to make weeds come up, it depends on preference I think and probably by trial and error, some towns will produce more and others will produce less depending on which method they use.

For every town completely filled with weeds, so far I've seen them have at least 5 clovers, maybe one or two being clovers you can pick up. I've heard that also if you happen to have a good luck day, wait until that day and you will be able to pick up the clovers to make them be the physical ones. Not entirely sure how accurate that information is but either way those darn clovers are rare.

I have a second town and i'm going to be TT on it to get clovers too! But i'm not round to doing it yet - but i do have an idea - i could get onto that game, TT for you, then you come in and pluck all the clovers looking for them, take some home, and i'll keep TT for you and you can keep re-visiting to find some, until you get tired lol

theres a method that you can try to get clover paths (or others to try first on a cycle/weeding town to see if it works alright)
- set beautiful ordinance
- put down flowers, mushrooms, items, seashells, patterns, whatever on the areas where you DONT want a path
- wait until someone pings to move, tell them to stay, save and quit
- TT ahead like a couple months or whatever, i wouldnt personally go to the next year
- walk around, there should be weeds n clovers in the space for the paths
- pluck any non clover weeds. the clovers on the ground can be lucky or not, doesnt matter but just dont pull them up
- find someone who will ping to move, tell them to stay, keep trying until you have a good amount of clovers where you want your paths

your paths may not have 100% lucky, movable clovers and they may not be completed but you should reserve some spaces around town and hope that lucky clovers spawn there so you can move them to fill in the holes in the paths. also this way, nobody should move out and no flowers will wilt bc of the beautiful ordinance. ppl say that beautiful ordinance gives lucky clovers more of a chance to spawn than without it

How many do you need? I may be willing to buy some for you with my tbt :)

I need like hundreds for my paths, i have about 25? haha
