Need help picking a theme for a new town

So, I'm going to be developing one of my cycle towns into a real town soon and I'm trying to pick a villager list/theme for it but I'm stuck.
With my current towns one is a zen forest (zen pwps, upgrades and mostly matching villagers) and the other is monochromatic villagers in a bright and lighthearted town (lots of hybrids and fairy tale stuff), still both very much works in progress, I just like having multiple towns to play in...

My first town ever was a "punk rock" town with lots of modern stuff and a very suburban theme but i just picked random villagers, not themed ones. I kind of miss the feel of that town and would love to do it better this time around, the villagers I had in mind are tiffany, cherry, rhonda, bella, bruce (bonus, he's in my secondary town for now so I could move him in myself), tex, roscoe, naomi, mac or sly, and rodeo or barold.

The other two ideas I had were a zoo town with savannah (bonus shes already in town BUT she could get cycled out as I'm trying to get a dreamie for one of my other towns into boxes), mathilda, annabelle, flo, papi, kyle, boone, elvis and two from Tammi/Tank/Flora (because I've always wanted Annabelle and Kyle)
or a US or european type forest with molly, bonbon, blaire, tammy, drake, henry, sparro, fang, fauna and phil. (Because I've always wanted Molly, Fang and Henry)

My worries are that the zoo town would end up too similar to my second town, and the forest town too similar to my main town, but that the punk rock/rock n roll one would just make me miss my first town I ever had, but those are the only themes I've come up with that really speak to me (I tried a farm town and a Narnia town and a couple other random villager lists, I keep coming back to these three)

So I'm asking for input... Which do you like? Which do you hate? Are they all too "it's been done before" ??
I just need a little help deciding, I'm not doing it right away but am beginning to plan for it so I'd like to have an idea what I'll be doing.

I have seen SO MANY Forest towns ;/ I love the zoo idea! You could have the characters house as like bug/fish area kids areas and the villagers could be like lions hippos monkeys really anything! Love the idea and would love to see the DA once it's out <3

The zoo town would be super cool if you want something that isn't too 'mainstream'

Maybe you could try the Rock 'N Roll/Punk Rock Town again, if you miss the feel of your old town, and it`s some kind of a unique and cool town idea too!

I know it's a bit overdone, but i really like the Zoo town idea, there are a ton of combinations of villagers and you can get really creative with your execution. Whatever you decide though, i wish you good luck in creating it C:

I'd choose the forest. I'm just a fool for nature though, so I'm definitely biased. cx

I like the forest theme, i don't see AC as a very "modern" game so the others do not appeal to me as much.

You could totally pull off the modern/rock vibe with the villagers you have in mind. It'll be a great chance to restart that idea now that you have more experience under your belt. I say go for it!

A temperate forest town sounds exquisite and so does the zoo one! The zoo one would be cool… get like lions, penguins, alligators etc omg yes.

I'm a big fan of forest towns- I never get tired of them, even if they're not really unique.

I really like the zoo idea and picking villagers that match that!

However, my vote is for the Rock 'n Roll/Punk Rock Town. You seem to really miss your old town with that theme, and if you're worried about your town being too similar to the other two then the option that deviates from them the most is the best, in my opinion!
