Need help! How do I back up my game? :(

I was wondering aside from powersave (since it's not allowed on this forum) what is a way to just back up my save file, without the use of any cheats etc.?

I've seen a few people on here post how they have back up copies of their game for when it gets corrupted, and was wondering how this is possible. Is there a software through nintendo? >.<

If you have a digital copy of the game you can back it up on PC, I don't know exactly how it's done as I only have physical copies but I think it's saving a copy from the SD card. I heard you have to back up after every time you play or the data is no longer good.

Unfortunately I have never heard of a legit way to back up a physical copy.

Oh dear :/ yeah I have heard that too but sadly I have a physical copy :/ would just be nice to back it up since I'm always busy with work and hate losing villagers due to it :/

I understand, I hate the thought of losing my villagers as well .

It's a shame there's a non-cheating way to back up your physical game. I'm sure it would help a lot of people especially if something bad happened like your game got corrupted or something.

Your dream code is a backup. With your code I can copie all your sav on my game (Pocket, Pattern, Character, badge, city, items, house, villager....) it's a liltte bit complicated, but I can send you a copie of your sav. You can restore it if you're in 9.0 to 9.5 or I can made a little glitch (RiverRun town like) to restore your sav in dream mode

Yeah I just found out about that, my ds is 9.6 sadly :l

I have a UK DS with that firmware but my game is on my American DS :l I wanted to try and backup my save so I could also restore it onto my UK copy but at this point I think it's just impossible >.< Nintendo should have come out with a power save, well....the ability to backup that way without the cheats at least

It works for every version of 3DS any region. Just put your fourniture in your pocket or in your cupboard nothing on your house sometime the restoration doesn't work in the house.
The Dream Code contains all the sav, not just the city, but everything.
