Alright, one of my high-end villagers dinged me to move. One of the last ones I need to move out, as well! So, since the screenshot contest went over pretty well, I'm going to have the giveaway here on TBT.
My problem is that I don't like 'first come, first serve' posts, since not everyone can be on at the same time - nor am I much of a ran of completely random raffles. I am a fan of people doing cute, sweet, or otherwise emotionally invested things to 'earn' their dreamies. Doubly so if it's someone who isn't into making millions of bells to buy rare items or win villager auctions.
So, I turn to the forums in general. I held a 'tell me a story' contest for Fauna on reddit, and had all of four entries. And a 'give me a memory' contest for Whitney here, with a turnout of almost ten, and a bunch of really cute screenshots. So, I need something similar, but without duplicating. The only 'rule' is the contest can't ask for items, bells, etc. But, I need a contest. Something fun that'll draw a fair number of entries. I can't really offer anything to the winner, except 'rights' to one of my remaining villagers IF they ping me to move out before I reset. So, the 'prize', if you can call it that, is not a guarantee.
Villagers remaining (leaving out the contest prize): Bob, Rudy, Chief, Pietro, Mira, Blaire, Bubbles, Zell.
Ideas are of course welcome if you don't want one of these villagers, but..if you do, please include one of the names with your submission. I cannot stress this enough, so, here is some bold text that repeats myself. I will make efforts to get the 'winner' their requested villager, including TT'ing around for a moving ping, but I can by no means guarantee it. If they ping me to move then I will cheerfully donate them to the requester. But if they don't move before the big reset, then they will be gone. I'll check back tomorrow, ish, probably after classes in the afternoon.
Thanks, everyone, for your help with this, my creativity's gone flat from anticipating college classes starting again tomorrow! Excited, but it seems to be taking up the space in my brain meant for making fun contests. So, I really appreciate the help with helping me give back to this community!
