What do you folks do to get natural paths more quicker?

I have natural paths and many people say that they are hard to maintain. I, however, have no difficulty keeping them up.
What I did was lay down paths where I wanted my dirt paths to be. Then, I ran wherever on the path repeatedly for maybe a month or two. Then, I removed the paths and my dirt was there. It's not that hard really. The most difficult part was laying the paths to begin with since I wanted a wide path instead of a dinky, narrow one.

I remember somebody here had a "running party" and invited some people to her town to run and help make the paths. Iirc, she laid out tiles for outlines and also flowers and the people would run inbetween them to cause the grass wear. I'll assume she was successful.

Heck, I get bare spots and I try to be good.

Just run the same spots, every day. It takes a while to get them started, but once they're going, they won't be hard to maintain even if you just walk on them every day. Skipping time via timetravel will make them pretty ratty, though... But that's a good way of cleaning an old road, too.

My friend did this. She had "Running partys" also heh heh. She did 3 or 4 of them and had 6 people come each time. They ran for like 10 minutes ish each all over the town. Yeah, she has really pretty paths now.

I made one once by placing lamp posts and then getting them removed all along the path.
PERFECT path and tbh I don't think it takes much longer, if as long, as running around.

However I stopped playing for 2 months so it's pretty ugly now and I'm just gonna let the grass grow back...

i have a rose path and took me a week xD so I'm not having those natural paths
