Native Flowers!

So, my islands native flower was tulips. I recently reset, because I wanted to find a different hybrid on islands.. I realized after awhile I was set to a certain 3, Tulips, Roses, and Windflowers. I set on windflowers, but I have come to realize 2 things,

1. I really love the look of black roses.
2. Roses are really valued! It seems rare for people, so now I'm wondering how much trouble I will have getting some!

I am almost close to resetting and hoping I get a shop with flowers I actually want - instead of pansies and tulips. However, I was curious, has anyone found anything about the shop's selection changing? Once a month maybe? Per season? I just can't imagine we are stuck to our set 4, it seems so limiting compared to the old games!

I am not sure why, but I so into the flowers this game, I never cared for breeding much before, but they look so cute. Maybe I should give in and try to get nintendo online

That's such a nice selection. <3 I'm just not liking the tulips and pansies in this game, so I really only have two flowers I want to buy right now!

Oh, I just found it on reddit as well now that you mentioned it. Hyacinths are so pretty!!

Windflowers, Tulips, Pansies, and Hyacinths are what I have. I noticed these four are extremely common for people to have in their shops, it makes me wonder if it is season based.
Though, that would probably make the flowers in the southern hemisphere shops different right now I would assume.

Huh, I wonder if it is seasonal. My natives are Lilies but I get Tulips, Hyacinths, Pansies and Windflowers cycling in and out of the shop. It’s not monthly, as I got every one of those in late March as well as early April.

Windflowers fit in with a february birthday.

The other flowers are in the lots of three have nothing to do with what's sold in the store.

Store flowers are seasonal, I believe.

It has to be seasonal! No way everyone has the same shop flowers by chance.
Does anyone know what dates the seasons change? I might be willing to TT and check, it doesn't seem like TTing far ahead does much damage to the town itself.

Haha, same on the pansies for sure! Also why I didn't want roses at first, I saw too many towns with only roses back in NL. I really only want black roses, I think I'll skip on the rest of the colors!
