Natal

Or you could pay 200 and get the exact same thing made by Nintendo =D
I hate to say it, but I think Nintendo's motion control is a lot better than this.

They aren't charging 200 for it...

I think you add 150 onto the regular price of the arcade version of the xbox, but you get a free game and it it's rumoured to have a hard-drive built in.

To be fair Nintendo's was in development longer and has been out longer. It took them three years to come up with an improvement for it, too.

And I'm seriously wondering why people are taking this video seriously. The kids clearly have no *censored.3.0*ing idea what's going on, and neither does the woman, probably. I recognize one of the things on the screen as something that was seen at E3 (or was it GDC?) last year. Evidently, as was obvious to everyone who doesn't automatically hate everything not for a Nintendo console, this video is old and not a real tech demonstration.

PS3 Move looks better... Even though I hate the fact that sony is making it...
But honestly... I hate Microsoft, so most things Microsoft is uninteresting to me.
Nintendo is doing it best for motion controls.
And PS3 is just a better console. xD

...First of all did you notice the audience? A 4 year old with his parents, the game involved flailing your arms around like a dumb-*censored.2.0*. What do most children 5 and under love to do? Yes.

Great video in attempt to troll Microsoft.

About the price...yeah it is a little too expensive BUT Natal is kinda trying to be a new console not just a peripheral, so the Wii was 250 so 200 isn't that bad.

Lastly if these type of "games" are the only thing to be released it will fail.
It wasn't trolling microsoft, it was showing the truth. Click on it, go to full screen, then see how Microsoft fails.
What the *censored.3.0* was that? I could watch it on a postage stamp, or a movie theater screen I would see the same thing, get your full-screen BS outta' here.

And yes, why else would Mega post this, he highly dislikes Microsoft.
I do dislike Microsoft, they may make good computers, but they really should stay out of the console business.
Call it a seperate console if you like, but in reality it really is just an expensive add-on. Natal is going to flunk terribly. They are trying to grab the casual audience, now if you put a Wii and Wii motion plus ($199 bundle) and a 360 with Natal (god knows how much) in front of some casual, which do you think they're going to pick?

It's so sad that now Sony and Microsoft will fall to the casuals. :/
I'm tired of people saying these exact words. People don't realize that it's an accessory which means you don't have to get it, and there's probably not going to be a lot of games made for it. Developers will continue to make normal games and maybe add optional things for Natal/Move, but it doesn't take away from the core of the game.

This. Exactly.

It's an add-on. Can you honestly remember any add-ons that have gained steam and lived for a while? (Although I will give the Balance Board credit.) The Eye Toy, the Gameboy Camera, they all died pretty quickly. Even if they do catch on, there probably will be the option to play with regular controls, unlike Nintendo who has constricted themselves into almost being forced to use motion controls.

Secondly, Sony has already stated, if it didn't work on the Wii, don't bother. So chances of a *censored.2.0*load of shovelware have been decreased dramatically.

Some accessories have been a complete flop, where as others did well. You can't say where these will go. As for the argument that it's just an option, yes it will be. But if it picks up steam, by next gen, all consoles could be motion control. That's not inherently bad, the problem is that the limitations of todays motion capture basically reduce it to wagglan.
