Names for Jan 1 Town, Please!

Hey all, I know these threads are a dime-a-dozen but I'm planning on starting a town on January 1 (tomorrow!), but I haven't decided on a town name yet... ;-;

For my mayor's name, I'll either go with my real name (Sarah) or Ghost. I don't know that my town will have a particular theme other than natural (super original, I know), so it doesn't necessarily need to have a theme.

I'd like something more on the cute side, but nothing that ends with -city, -vale, -wood etc.

Please help with suggestions if you can! c:

I wish I could help but I am not the best at naming ANYTHING! My towns are: Weeds, DryRot, Rathole, Rubble, Seaweed, Antares, Rio Loco, Pitiful and Rio Awful. Pretty lousy, huh? The only one I like is Rio Loco. Take your time and get it right the first time. Good luck!

I'd say start with something you like. I really like cartoons, manga/ anime, and animated movies, so both of my town names are in reference to those (Glendale after Bravest Warriors, and Paprika after the movie). If you want your town name to stick to the natural theme you have in mind, then maybe something like these...

Aquifer (a layer of permeable rock where groundwater is often found)
Estuary (where a river ends and ocean begins/ where fresh and salt water mix)
Tundra (year round frozen biome)
Arctic
Marine
Taiga (located just below tundra biomes latitudinally, it's the world's largest biome)
Coral
Carbon
Rosebud
Garden
Floral

i think seaweed is a kinda cute name c: plus, sarah/ghost from seaweed has a nicering to it imo

The beauty of ACNL is variety. I believe all of us are snowflake-like, in that we all have different tastes. The pinky, flowery, angelic and Unicorn-ish themes are great if that's what you like. It just makes me wanna barf.
