Hey, would someone mind explaining to me how to trade/ give away villagers?

It's not a "noob" question. It's a subject a lot of players are kind of confused about.
Anyway, trading and giving away villagers is when you have a villager that is going to move out, and has its boxes packed. You invite the person you are selling/trading/giving the villager to to your town. When that person talks to that villager, they can invite that villager back to their town. That's pretty much it :v
