My villagers won't suggest any PWP...

So I have villagers of most personalities. I have been doing the diving trick every day repeatedly. I'm good friends with all my villagers. But every time I do the diving trick they ask me to do them a favor, ask what I think their favorite flower color is, or whatever. No money, nothing in pockets except fishing rod and timer. Five minutes per diving thing. I have no PWP suggestions and it's getting annoying! I even tried TTing! Any other ways to get the villagers to suggest PWPs?

It usually takes time. Sometimes hours. There are some tricks at avoiding villagers from asking favors. Here are some tips:

- Don't have any items that villagers might ask to trade/buy.
- Have your timer only, or any other tools, and fill the rest of your pockets with flowers. This will avoid villagers from giving you stuff.
- If you aren't getting any pings, talk to a villager. Every hour, they will be like "you should take a break". This stops anyone from pinging you until they give you that message.
- Villagers can only request 1 PWP a day. I also don't think they can request on days that have events or holidays, so make sure it's a normal day just in case.
- A big help to keep track of where villagers are is trapping them. This avoids them from walking all over town. I usually dig 4 holes around them on all sides to trap them. It takes a minute to do, but just keep pushing them in the section and be fast.
- Remember the villagers that are out and about. There can be up to 5 villagers outside at a time, so if you only see two or three for example, chances are you just can't find the rest (depending on the time of day). Using the megaphone helps a lot for this. It also helps if you don't do the previous tip method.

They should be requesting as long as you have your mayor permit and follow these tips. Like I said it does take a long time. It's taken me like 2 or 3 hours at a time sometimes. Just leave your 3DS on the side and keep glancing at it to look at the timer.

I would just give up XD wits the point of the game if you time travel so much :/

It can sometimes take a long time, several hours some days. I used to dig holes around one villager near to the beach androgen just run in front of them....it can still take a while sometimes but I found that an easy way of getting all pwps from one personality before moving on to the next (I have everything unlocked using this method, did it all within 3 months as I tt'd on occasion too)

i usually go to a place in my town where no animal goes and every 30 second or so i move once after 5 min is up i walk infront of some villagers and talk to the one that pings me.

The wet suit trick too. Hang out for 5 minutes in the water in the corner of the map. Come back in and look for pings with an inventory of flowers.

It's kind of a catch-22 but building PWP's will get you a lot more PWP requests from your villagers.You could build some of the cheaper PWPs(if you have the bells)then take them down after you get the ones you really want.I've been refurbishing one of my towns recently and after every PWP I've put up,I've received a PWP request the very next day.
