So, I grow my trees one- two days, plant them somewhere and put a new tree sprout behind it and it should keep it from growing... however they are still growing. Is anyone else having this issue? Was this changed in one of the updates? Or am I missing something?

what kind of tree are you planting? i read somewhere that is has to be a specific type of tree (i think a fruit tree? i’m not sure though and will double check) for it to work.

edit: looks like the post above me beat me to it! try a fruit tree, op!

Are you planting fruit trees behind them? I’ve never tried it myself, but I’ve heard the trick only works if it is a fruit tree.

That could be why. I am doing pine trees lol
So will they stunt if I put a fruit sprout behind them or can it only be fruit trees that can be tiny trees?

i believe fruit trees are what stunt them, since i’ve seen multiple different types of trees as tiny tree. i haven’t tried it myself, though! all my knowledge is based off of other people trying it!

Also does anyone know if stunted hardwood trees still turn pink during the cherry blossom season?

I don't think they do, I had a few stunted trees strewn around and tt'd to cherry blossom season and none of them were cherry blossom. however, that could just be bad luck on my end haha

Yes, it appears so.
