About a month ago my right ear was closed up. We eventually went to the doctor and they got all the wax out with a syringe. About a week ago it's been opening and closing again. I've used those white things you stick in your ears, but it hasn't helped. And keep note this is only in my right ear. Does anyone have the slightest clue as to what might be wrong with my right ear? Even the doctors can't figure out how the wax regrew so fast.

Do not use Q tips!!!

I used to have this issue, Q tips do not remove the wax, they tend to pack it into the back of the ear instead, this does not help the problem, it is actually a big part of the problem.

You want to rinse your ears out in the shower each time. If it's stuffed up you will need to get get it cleaned out again. Ear wax thinner will help.

Oh wow, so my parents were wrong about the Q tips. But the shower actually just makes it squishy; it doesn't help get it out. I guess my only option is to go to the doctor again. Hopefully it won't hurt as bad as last time.

I use qtips wth but I barely have anything in there so

why don't you use like a syringe maybe this is a stupid idea but yeah

The doctor already uses one when I go there. You can buy them though? How much are they?

ohhh a turkey baster yeah

Self administration can be harmful.

Do not ever use Q-tips. I've been advised not to by the doctor. They do more harm than good, putting a solid object in your ear is never a good idea.

They clean mine out with a spray bottle like contraption.

My ears do this a tonne. They pop for over 3 days at a time, sometimes lasting a week and I go practically deaf in my left ear. Seriously a horrible thing to wake up to or just to happen randomly sometimes... Ugh. I use ear drops, I was given to them by the chemist. They don't help much at first and feel a little strange but over time it'll just remove the wax. I did it every day and eventually it just kind of unpopped. I had to try unpop it myself in between though. I did use q-tips too, which had a tonne of very wet and fresh wax most likely from the ear drops, but I didn't jam it down my ears. Doing that made it happen in the first place...

I really don't like using ear drops since they smell so bad. Plus they tickle my ear and I have to sit there and take it for a couple minutes. Strangely enough, my actual wax smells like peanut butter. I'm not even joking. It's interesting and gross at the same time.

I got an ear infection before. What I do is use more water in the shower towards your ear. Trust me, I had experience. I almost gagged at the spoiled cherry taste of medicine.

When I was taking treatment, I had to take hearing tests and ugh. One time they put a cotton ball in my ear and they put some sort of liquid. It was cold but it felt good. Maybe you should do something like that?

I've never had an ear infection even though I hardly use swabs or anything{I'm really odd like that} but just do what the doctors tell you. I'm not sure about your ear, never heard anything like that...

I don't think it happens till you're older. Just my theory.

I'm almost 12. Maybe you need to older than a teenager.

So, do the doctors just not know anything about it?

if the doctors don't know how do you expect a bunch of people on an animal crossing forum to know?
