Dear Bell Tree Forums Members,

I want to ask that you visit my Dream Address and, afterward, tell me what you think I need to do to achieve The Perfect Town.

Please don't hold back with anything. Tell me what I am needing to do. If you think there is this or that which stinks, please say so.

The reason for this is that I need to achieve The Perfect Town. It would allow me to unlock so much which includes being able to remodel the Town Hall. (I just achieved unlocking the ability to remodel the Train Station. I haven't picked a new model yet.)

My Dream Address is in my signature.

I really would appreciate this; it is helpful. Nothing is taken personally by me.

Thank you!

What does Isabelle say when you talk to her about citizen satisfaction?
List of things she says:
Isabelle: "Hmmmm... It's not a passing grade, but it's not really failing either... So middle ground!" "It's like this town is more than friends but not ready to be a couple yet. It needs real commitment!"
Isabelle: "Well, they're certainly giving it their all! The difficult challenge is the reason town building is so worth it!
Isabelle: "It seems that [Town Name] is starting to gain some attention as a popular sightseeing destination! I hope they continue to work hard to really keep revitalizing this town! Eek eek!"
Isabelle: "It's great! The very best town ever! I wouldn't mind being mayor again for a town that looks like this!" "The survey also says the citizens feel [Town Name] is the best town ever! They never want to leave!"
Isabelle: "Why, it's amazing, and I truly mean that! This town is simply the best! They've clearly worked very hard! This old man is really pleased!" '"The survey also says the citizens feel [Town Name] is the best town ever! Everyone just loves it here! Let's both do our best to ensure that [Town Name] is always a clean, happy place to live!"
"Isabelle: "Great galloping grasshoppers! Were I to give this town a rating, I'd say that it's exemplary, old bean!" '"The survey also says the citizens feel [Town Name] is the best town ever! Everyone just loves it here! Let's both do our best to ensure that [Town Name] is always a clean, happy place to live!"
Isabelle: "Woohoo! What a glorious town! Pav? wants to just sprawl out right here and caress the ground... Viva [Town Name]!" "The survey also says the citizens feel [Town Name] is the best town ever! Everyone just loves it here! Let's both do our best to ensure that [Town Name] is always a clean, happy place to live!"
Isabelle: "Goodness gracious! Even from an academic standpoint, i must say this town is becoming quite good! If the town grows like this, I have no doubt that its value will keep soaring even higher, eh wot?"

I'll quote what Isabelle tells my Mayor Jill:

You want to know how satisfied the citizens of Applewin are?
Sure thing! Here's what the citizen-satisfaction committee had to say:

"Uh? I'm not sure if it's OK to write something like this, so forgive me?
'I wonder if they could maybe pay a little bit more attention to our town? Perhaps just a little.'"

In addition, the citizens complained about the cleanliness of town.
All the weeds and garbage make them feel like they're "living on a landfill." Their words, not mine.

The fate of Applewin lies in your hands, Mayor Jill. I just know you'll do us proud.

I edited my last post with a link to AC:Wiki's Perfect Town page. The section on "tips to get a perfect town" will help you if you run into any trouble in the future.
Isabelle says your town is a "landfill" because you have too much stuff on the ground.

There are too many items on the floor. Only seashells and fruits are not considered "trash."

Here is the guide to perfect town:
http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Perfect_Town

Do you mean too many items of the ground?

What I started doing today was cleaning up the trash on reserve. Picking up the baskets of fruit, yes, but I also began reorganizing storage for gyroids using a secondary human's locker. I am still continuing. (On break for a moment.) And I will also pick up and take the ores, decorated around houses and buildings (a colorful design element, I know) and store them into another secondary human's locker.

I just wonder what else, besides the trash, says that my town is in much need for improvement.

Thanks, TeeTee!

Welcome Candy!
Honestly, your town is looking good. The problem is with this game. It can't recognize treasures and it categorizes them as trash. Don't feel bad about taking a few hours to clean up because I had the same problem.

TeeTee,

Thanks.

I looked over some guidelines.

After reorganizing, I am going to count the trees to see if they add up to at least 110. (I don't think they do. Bit I have lots of beach-located coconut and banana trees.) My placement of those fruit trees were similar to what I though "City Folk" wanted: that they should be four slots from each other. What video I've seen of others' Perfect Towns doesn't indicate any such thing.

I will take some time to whip into shape my town of Applewin. This includes making sure I have some good projects. This is not an impossible challenge.

UPDATE 01.15.2014 @ 7:15 p.m. ET: I got my Perfect Town rating just last night. Late in the night.

I so did by adding a few more trees. (Though I did not do a count; I have all fruits and they ended up multiplying anyway.) I have a variety of Public Works Projects. And I essentially got this Perfect Town status, sooner than even I anticipated, by up picking all the colorful ores that were around human and villager houses and buildings. That, yes, they registered with the "community" as garbage. I will say: One villager home accounted for about 15 ores. So I was at it for a while. I did a little TTing, for a reason I won't get into, and have one Jacob's Ladder as well.

For those who haven't yet achieved a Perfect Town record, it's not as tough as I thought it might be. My trees were initially four slots from each other (minus anything in the way). I added a few in between, particularly fruit in need, and once the rating set in Isabelle told me about the rave reviews. The villagers want to stay forever! They love my town! That sort of thing. I've been rewarded with options to upgrade the Town Hall; and another Public Works Project is, of course, the Flower Clock.

I haven't done anything just yet. I'm under the impression that, whatever design I choose for Town Hall, I cannot change it. But, then again, it says that it cannot be demolished. (Why would I want to do that?)

Thank you to everyone, from this thread, for their input!
