My new town flopped hard!

I finally got the layout of my dreams. Perfect apples, circle patterned grass, 1 pond, North and South divided equally in half and the town plaza is in the centre! Loves it!

However, I've gone through at least one 16 villager cycle? and I keep getting Tier 5 villagers and some Tier 4 LOL. Literally the best villager I've gotten so far is Shep. Lmaooo. x_x

An unlucky town I guess?

To be fair those tier 5-4 villagers are the exact same as tier 1 villagers. Just different appearances.

Haha, sometimes that happens! But your town layout is permanent, villagers are not!

I'm also trying to get my dreamies by cycling through my town myself. I'm not sure how that's gonna turn out. I'll probably eventually just adopt them from here

just curious, how is plaza in center with equal division? wouldnt a bit of either top or bottom have to be cut off to put the plaza in the center?

at the very least, the more bad villagers cycled, the less chance of getting them back for a while?

Oh I meant it's aligned with the train station. It's not really in the centre but close enough!

My friend also had a pretty goodish layout but really REALLY bad villagers that were like tier 5s lol
She ended up resetting though but I think you should keep since I'm sure you'll get at least ONE good villager or at least a dreamie lol

Like someone else said, villagers aren't permanent, so that can be changed easily.
I don't think it's "unlucky" by getting tier 4/5 villagers that randomly move in to your town. The likelihood of you getting a dreamie or a "good" villager that way isn't very likely since there are literally over 300 villagers in the game.

Can you post a picture? I love looking at town layouts, I like my town as it is, and am too attached to it to reset. I just settled on the first layout I found lol!

I just ended up adopting all of my villagers from here. I literally never had any villager I wanted turn up randomly, not even in the campsite. Just takes too long for me doing it that way and I'm impatient it wasn't even just a case of only having tier 5's either (some of the tier 5's I really like), I still got tier 1'snand 2's...just none of them were dreamies or even favourites where's my cycle town seems to get all my dreamies....

Doesn't sound like an unlucky town to me. It once took me hours just to get perfect cherries. A good map, favorite fruit makes a world of difference. Villagers come and go but good town map is difficult to come by. And what's wrong with 4th & 5th tier villagers, I for one welcome the not so favorite villagers.
